Surf City Slacker T-shirts spotted in Australia!

Tim and Chris Ramacciotti are seen here sporting their Surf City Slackers T-shirts in the land down under.  Chris' ship, the Polar Star, made a stop on it's way back from Antarctica and Tim, who lives in Australia, met him at the port.  As you can see, it was a very serious occasion.

The cross is a dedication to one of Scott's expedition party that died

nearby. Behind me you can see Salmon peak, Hobbs peak, Ferrar glacier, Blue glacier and Bowers - Piedmont glacier. It was approx. 5 degrees that day with no wind. Later that day the wind picked up and with wind chill it was about - 20 degrees. As for the how hard it was to get the picture, I had to get out of bed, put on my clothes and actually WALK out to Discovery Point IN THE COLD!!!!! Now that's some Work.

T-shirt Sighting in Hawaii

Here is Slack Rat Mara Kahn hanging loose in Hawaii, at the northern tip of the Big Island.  And although she is a big fan of shave ice, she followed the guidebook’s advice and continued down the street to have fabulous coconut ice cream. Below Mara walks to the Ice Cream shop.
